Lawrence A. Lavery is transitioning to a new role to enhance his incredible research career, A former Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery, as well as Director of Clinical Research, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, he is now moving to the University of Texas, San Antonio. His research group has published 320 peer reviewed papers and has received extramural funding from the Veterans Administration, National Institute of Health, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
